I had this record when it came out; I likely heard a song from it on the FM underground radio station and bought it or it just looked promising from the package. While it was then a very obscure record, I always liked it. For some unknown or unremembered reason, I associated the sound or feel of this record with early spring. So, every spring through the 70's, I would listen to this record and it always brought a smile. Good to see it here.

I used to buy LPs used, 6 for $2. This was one of the best finds. I remember playing this in my gold 68 Mustang... 6x9 speaker in the dash, old cassette player that I'd dub favorites onto. Always reminds me of fall. "Autumn leaves are fallin..."

The passage that starts at about 2:07 reminds me of what Iommi would put into Spiral Architect 4 years later on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Just saying it has that feel. A great song by one of many inspired bands that emerged in the early 70's. If I had to pick one year for hard rock emergence and heavy feel and look, that would be it.

Rubbish they were English and made two LPs Hard Meat and Through a Window and I should know I was there at the time. Get your facts straight before posting uninformed comments.
