Hard Money || The newest Bike ONLY DH trail on the Front Range

Jarrod, Harrison and I decided to hit up Hard Money Trail in Black Hawk, Colorado a few days before the "official" opening. Hard Money is the Front Ranges newest Bike ONLY, DH directional trail, located approximately 45 minutes from Denver.
Check out my first run down the trail :)
If you check this trail out be sure to ride cautiously as it is a new trail. New trails tend to be dry and easily blown out in corners or on edges of the trail. Ride with caution as you descend this terrain; this high speed trail is full of tight corners and blind jumps. The size of the jumps are larger than you would think. Keep an eye out for wildlife :)

Yep, let it rip when you know the trail better. You must have ridden it Saturday before the rain. I was going to that day as well but I figured there would be tons of people.Was it crowded?

Great ride and trails. Which Pivot bike is the best all-rounder the Firebird or the Mach 6? I will be moving to British Columbia in the near future which is epic for mountain biking. Looks like both the Firebird and Mach 6 climb fairly well for long travel bikes.

Doug, I ride the Mach 6 which is super playful and fun!I prefer the 27.5” wheels! jarrod rides the Firebird which is built for speed! It really comes down to your preferences! Do you prefer 27.5” or 29” wheels? Both have plenty of travel for just about anything thrown at it...but the Firebird has a tad more travel! I hope that helps! I’ve rode them both and fell in love with them! The Mach 6 was a bit easier for this girl to throw around on jumps! I love jumping!
