Thanks. Worked well. A few words: 1) Hard reset will practically delete all user data (photos, documents, messages, contacts, etc). It will bring the phone to the original condition you got the phone in when you bought the phone. If you have not backed up the files, you need to decide whether to proceed or not. However, if these files were saved in your SD Card, then it will not be erased. 2) If the phone has been registered to a previous Google account, you would need the permission of the previous owner (if it was your own account, then don't worry). There are some steps where verification from the previous Google account is required. Enjoy & good luck!
