Great video. I live in New Jersey and go to Atlantic City often. I like to stay in the South Tower when I'm planning on going to the pool or spa, it's so convenient.

I've had rooms in both the North and the South Tower but I tend to like the North Tower better for the floor to ceiling windows. I've been Atlantic City so many times I also enjoyed your Tropicana video. I've been in just about most of the casinos overnight except for borgata, Golden Nugget and oceans.

I like both towers but I also prefer the North just a little more. It has a bigger bathroom like you said and much better views with the floor to ceiling window.

I stayed at Taj and later Hard Rock. I like both towers and don't mind the walk to North. Plenty of rock memorabilia.

Sorry to hear you didn’t like the Tropicana. Seems to be a love or hate type of place lol I have only been there during the week and found it pleasant and fun. Sure it could get crazy and busy there. Hard Rick is loud and Smokey in some areas but it’s bright and easy to navigate. It’s wonderful if you are a music fan. Lots of music playing everywhere. Even live music at night. Great vibe.

The south tower is the oldest, if your hoping for a good nights sleep (without noise from adjacent rms.)you have a better chance in this tower.Like everything the newer north tower(2006) walls etc are cheaply built thus more noise levels. One night in north tower never again

The South Tower has walk in showers now? They had tubs when I stayed there, even when it was the Hard Rock (a couple of years ago).

Thanks, I’ve been going to the Hard Rock the last few years. I like it the best. I’ve stayed at Borgata and Caesars too. I just always stayed in the south tower. I like the nicer bathroom in the north. I think I’ll try it next time I go. 5 1/2 hour drive for me from Massachusetts.

The rooms look very similar to when I stayed there as the Taj Mahal but of course with improvements made especially it seems in the North Tower. I stayed at both back when it was the Taj but have not been to the Hard Rock for a stay over as of yet. Just like the Casino very similar to when it was the Taj Mahal but definitely they put in a lot of money to fix it up and made it look a lot nicer. My biggest disappointment when it became the Hard Rock is that they got rid of the old Hard Rock Cafe which is now some kind of Seafood Restaurant. The new Hard Rock Cafe doesn't even come close to the old one. As you can probably tell I spent a lot of great times at the old Hard Rock Cafe and saw a lot of great bands which is missing from the new one. To be honest I am not overly impressed by Hard Rock but it does look a lot better than the Taj did before and some good memorabilia around the casino floor. My final rant on the old Hard Rock Cafe being replaced is that I loved those old MTV videos they would play in the old one. Not sure if they do in the new one as to be honest I have not yet dined at the new one but not really crazy about it being kind of open the way it is now. The old one was separate and enclosed even though it was in the Taj Mahal casino. Well sorry for the rant on that one but thanks for showing us around the Hard Rock Casino and the rooms in both towers. I did note that you said they have live music every night and it is free but now in like a lounge area looks like to me. My vote is for the North Tower.

The north tower was built in 2008 and its the same since the taj only thing different is the beds are different and new tvs

So, went to the 41st floor just to see what's up there. Everything immediately after stepping out of the elevator is either marble or walls padded with 3 inch thick cushioned wallpaper (cushioned wallpaper...what?). Would live to know exactly why the extravagance. No explanation anywhere on the website or the entire internet that I could find. The rooms must be for high rollers?

Hey! Yes. That was the South Tower where all of the action takes place. I've since learned there are about three floors at the top reserved for high rollers. Should have realized that. It's really hard to find information about the rooms but I believe they are essentially 1500 square foot apartments with high end amenities. Just seeing the elevator area and hallways is enough to impress upon you that if you don't know what it is all about, you don't belong up there. LOL. I was shocked I could go. You'd think the hotel would block access by using the room cards in the elevator.

Hi! People tend to prefer the ocean and Borgata because they are newer. I personally like the historic ones. I love hard Rock. Some people find it loud but it has a fun upbeat atmosphere. I also love Tropicana but some people hate it so I guess it’s all what you like!
