Hard & Soft Items | Touch the Opposite Things Activity for Kids | Life Skills Kindergarten | L.K.G.

Hey little learners! Those materials which cannot be easily compressed, cut, bent or scratched are called hard materials. Examples: Iron, glass. Those materials which can be easily compressed, cut, bent or scratched are called soft materials. Examples: Sponge, Cotton.
Prepare a series of lunch sacks with items to teach preschoolers the concept of hard and soft. In each sack you will want to place one hard item and one soft item. Encourage one student at a time to reach in and feel the two different objects. Explain that one of the objects is hard and the other is soft.
