Every character in Tekken 8 is cheesy IMO. The game is a block of cheese.

My friend showed me this arcade cabinet when we went to a arcade lounge and they had, I think it was Tekken 4, whichever Tekken debuted Marduk, and he told me to pick King and just spam the grabs😅😅 you and him are just alike, cheese and all

The biggest trap card in Tekken 8 is making your guy look like somebody else at face value, thought that was Jack for a milisecond

Lol Majin how would you feel if they made it to where Kings shove/push couldn't be parried.? Honestly I don't see why we should be punished on a parry for a move that does zero damage

Im hard stuck between bushin and tekken king. Had a promotion match for Emperor but got gatekept by a yoshi. Then had a bad loose to win ratio and got demoted back to bushin. 😢. Oh well.

Hard stuck it’s taken me since game releases to get to kishin with yoshi, no where near this rank still realistically and yoshi is supposed to be top tier lol my match up knowledge is to weak.

@erk489 I think lots of Yoshi players tend to run their own game very successfully without the worry of what the opponent is doing up to a certain rank because it's very difficult to learn his match up and it makes it extra hard to then adapt when they hit a wall. Hit practice mode and work on things like stepping, whiff punishment, general punishment and I'm certain you'll see your rank go up.

@ I know match ups just not most of them. Start getting close to next rank then all it takes is coming across few characters I don’t know that well and it’s back down again. I understand the fundamentals as I’m someone that plays fighting games a lot. Just the sheer amount of moves and characters in this game is a lot to know. I rarely see eddy as example I could come against a really bad player who is eddy and il loose as I have no idea what he’s doing. Some characters in this game you just rarely see. Feels like only way to be great at tekken is to only play tekken. I play a good few things. Also I haven’t played tekken since I was a child like tekken 2 was last tekken I played. This one brought me back to the game.
