It's so brilliantly over the top! That guy first gets shot with an arrow, then Van Damme shoots him 5 times, kicks his face and then proceeds to shoot him 8 times more for good measure. And that "shirt guy" from earlier, that got filled with 29 bullets (if my count is correct) and even though anyone should be way beyond dead by that point, our hero still sees the need to spinhook kick him in the face.

When they are back to back, both reloading, there was an interesting gesture that van dam makes between reloading one gun, and then the other because in the next shot, they make it look like some crazy movement, whereas, he’s only stuffing one gun under an arm and bringing out the other one. Interesting effect I had to watch more than a few times to catch it.

This is definitely some kind of unrated or extended version. I've seen this movie thousands of times and Van Cleef's death in this clip feels extra long which is super interesting! They probably had to condense it for an R rating. He wasn't handing Van Damage the grenade 😂 I think he wanted to blow himself up and take Boudreaux with him in a last ditch attempt. A death before dishonor kinda thing but obviously the former got the better of him.

For people saying he wastes too much ammo on individuals, it's actually a little touch that people missed: he's angry with the whole gang for killing his best friend earlier in the film, he's out for revenge of the most brutal form, so when he's shooting the living 💩 out of them it's anger & he's getting carried away. Only downside to that touch is that his infinity amount of ammo in the guns is unrealistic.
