Have made a little look around and found that it was not a movie but a TV series that was made back in 1977 and is available on Amazon in the UK. The part of Thomas Gradgrind is played by Patrick Allan, and the part of Bounderby is played by Timothy West. Hope this helps.

Ah, that's what I thought. :D I finally finished reading the book today for school and it was pure literary genius. I loved Sissy's development at the end of the book (though I cried when I read about what Mr. Sleary told Mr. Gradgrind (don't want to spoil it for anybody reading this)). I'm excited about the essay I have to write for it tomorrow - there's just so much I want to talk about! =]

I don't like the actors! Sissy is supposed to be younger with dark hair, the actress has brown hair! And Blitzer is also supposed to be a young boy not a teenager with that deep voice! also Mr Gradgrind is supposed to be a little chubby and not that hairy!!! Ughhh they ruined it for me!!!
