I love the square bodied cherokee's. They look amazing.

agree 100% If we were not packing up to travel I would be very tempted to get one and go down the similar path as Dane has. Even better I have seen one that was chopped to look like a style side ute.

Go on, you know you want one !!!😁

@Wolf4wdadventures.576 I do but won’t do us much good as we travel full time. Otherwise I would be looking hard for one.

Nice job Matt. I plan on having my front locker for the next Swan Gully trip so it'll be interesting to see if I'm able to get through the same obstacles a bit easier (hopefully without busting any tyres 😅)

are you doing front over rear? or are you doing both? Did you end up with damage other that the TPM Sensor?

Awesome welcome back to Brisvegas. What rig do you run?

@filthyoffroadadventures Thanks. I have a 2012 JK unlimited sport and 2021 Gladiator sport. The wrangler is my second. I accidentally rolled my first one while out with BJC, but I'm glad it was out with the club as it helped having everyone to assist in the recovery.

Awesome video mate. I love Swan Gully but it's definitely become alot more technical in the last few years since the rains and also with it becoming very overgrown. What are the specs on the XJ?

Hey thanks for watching. I just messaged Dane to get some basics for you and things his reply. 😁 So the XJ is a 1998 Sport, stock engine and transmission Hack n tap SYE High pinion D30 front diff with 4:88 gears and locker Chrysler 8:25 rear diff with 4:88 gears and locker 285/75/16 mud tyres on 16x8 -10 offset steel wheels 3.5 inch lift Synergy HD steering system Antirock swaybar Steel Rock crawler front and rear bars Custom Steel box and tube rock sliders Bushwacker flares Runva 11xp winch Hope that can cover the basics, heaps of other stuff there to make the above work. Hope this helps if you have more questions let me know and if I can’t answer I will hit him up again. 👌

@filthyoffroadadventures Hey, thanks for the reply. That seems like a very capable set up in the XJ. I only purchased my first XJ a few months ago and have been getting it reliable before any modifications. I'm starting to look at what set ups people run in AUS as opposed to in the US. I was only at Swan Gully the weekend just gone and got to give my XJ it's first real test run, surprisingly it went very well considering it's bone stock, i wanted to get it out and see how it goes stock so i know where to start modifications. I've been thinking around the same lines, except I'd like to go a long arm kit, stay around the 3" lift mark, 31x10.5's and a pair of lockers. The trouble seems to be finding where to get anything here. I can get general maitnece stuff through RockAuto but not to sure how to go about getting most other stuff, other than Ebay lol.
