I've been living for decades in chronic pain and I don't know what to do. I've watched your content endlessly over many years, intermittently ... .. And yet I'm still in chronic scary miserable life disrupting chest and neck pain that started with a car totaling auto accident in 1994. For some reason you've deleted my comments before, but I am sincere and earnest. I eat as healthy as possible, I'm always driving to do extended fasting and strict carnivore lion diet but frustrating that I get no relief and I continue living in miserable life disrupting chest and neck pain. It has disrupted my life supremely. I'm not on my feet financially as I would expect of myself let alone what others would expect of a normal person. I feel this pressure to work as much as I can as I feel like I may be homeless once my mom and stepdad are gone. My father refuses to believe me and insists that I am fleecing my mom and stepdad after over 30 years of estrangement, with his extreme narcissistic personality disorder which has been officially diagnosed. Anyway, I have supreme difficulty doing things I may want to do or may enjoy let alone the things that I ought to do and the things that I need to do. I have been in a desperate situation for so long and I just don't know what to do. I've been striving to heal myself, to facilitate healing, but I do not live alone and so because I'm not able to isolate it is incredibly difficult to do the extended fasting and the disciplined carnivore diet to the degree that I need to because of being around others and how conflicting my situation is in many ways. I just wish I could actually communicate with you, face to face would be optimal, but I don't feel like I really have dating issue problems because at this point I'm just so hung up on constant pain that makes it hard to continue living let alone to do the things I want to do, let alone to do the things that I need to do. I resolved that I must never make a premature departure so that I do not hurt those who love me, but every day for decades now it has been a fight to continue living and to continue to try to dig myself out of this hole but I haven't been able to get on my feet financially the way I would expect of myself and so I find myself not able to be in my own space and not able to do the hard work of extended fasting that healing my chronic miserable chest and neck pain may be addressed by despite the system telling me that this is not possible. We are encouraged to believe that many things are unable to heal but meanwhile many people are encouraged to consume and subject themselves to many things that continually work against them whether they realize it or not. I don't take any pain pills because I haven't given up and I do not want to create problems while merely attempting to address symptoms in the short term. Part of me wishes I could come work for you for free in order to enjoy doing so and also for whatever opportunities may arise from that. But to be honest it's just really difficult to even want to continue living. Not because I don't want to live and enjoy and have a family and do good things and hard things, but it's just so difficult to be in chronic scary miserable life disrupting pain, especially with it being centered in one's chest and one's neck, which feels like an unending impending cardiac event. I post this with the unfortunate expectation that it will be deleted and not addressed as has been the case several times over the years. But I'm posting this anyway. I do appreciate all of your continuing efforts and the amazing content that you put out. But I just don't know what to do with myself other than continue to do what I've been striving to do in my miserable chronic pain situation that I've been unable to get any relief from. I just need to be in my own place in order to isolate and do extended fasting And while I'm not doing that a disciplined lion diet. But I find myself in cycles of those I'm around, let alone the annual holidays and etc. I'm beyond frustrated. Thank you for your time and your continuing efforts.

@IHaveNoNameNoHome14 күн бұрын
I think he talks about doing stuff that actually works and setting up systems that make it effortless to do those things. The number 1 thing I’ve learnt from the self help niche is to just do what works and don’t get in your own way by complicating shit.
@musicsamples10014 күн бұрын
@@IHaveNoNameNoHome Yeah you explained that well but it seems like even when you have a system set up it still takes tons of work to get somewhere. But yeah ill think on your point. Thanks.
@santosfelipe1314 күн бұрын
My take: both exist at the same time. When you sit down for work, do it very well, make sure all you`ve commited to do gets executed in a high level. That doesnt mean that you should be fully booked all the time, if you`re working smart than you should have plenty of free time to enjoy life. Some weeks you might have to put in 100h per week, and then some weeks don`t touch work at all. Depends on your type of work as well, this applies more to entrepreneurship or work based on result delivery not on daily hours put

Owen, there is a lot more nuanced understanding to psychotherapy. I’ll assume you have some stellar therapists in your social network and have more context than what you share in videos. Having practiced for a long time, yes therapists are at odds with life coaches mostly because coaches (like many therapists) have earned a poor reputation. That doesn’t mean mutual respect can’t exist, but you also don’t seem all that excited about psychotherapy. Would it be impossible to bring you to the light to see where psychotherapy can complement coaching?
