Thank you for sharing your Western New York railfan adventures. Another great looking video. I’m glad you had dry weather.

Fun fact: I worked in that said grain elevator you mentioned in 18:37 years ago. It was for semolina, the type of grain Barilla there in Avon would use to mix their pasta. I always enjoyed watching the LAL switching action there. I just wish I had cared a little more about trains back then as I do now 😆 great work!

Nice stuff! The Rochester area has some real jewels. You don't really appreciate the size of the Poetageville Bridge until you see a train on it.

That was a FAST 40 minutes Harrison! Well done! It was thrill to see that new N-S Portageville Bridge AND that VERY scenic gorge under it. As I understand it N-S offered the old 19th Century Erie bridge at the site to the state of New York as a component of a hiking trail (it could have handled hikers easily) but the state turned them down. Too bad. Now those LA&L Alcos are a sight to gladden an Alco-holics heart, they look very well maintained and clean enough to eat off of! You know, I'm glad to see CSX did that "Half-Heritage" RF&P unit but it's obvious the top brass around at the time CSX purchased the RF&P isn't around anymore. Well it HAS been over 30 years now but I remember when it happened, CSX had to jump though a mile of hoops to make it happen, the state of Virginia drove a hard bargain and when the deal was complete CSX couldn't get rid of the RF&P markings fast enough! Quite a contrast to all the CSX predecessor 'roads who's markings were still pretty evident on a lot of locomotives. Thanks for posting!
