Hardanger Embroidery Tutorial part 3 - Eyelets & Cutting

Learn how to do the third step of hardanger embroidery. Eyelets are made by making multiple stitches into the same fabric hole and pulling snugly to open it.
Cutting the threads from the fabric can be intimidating, but take it slowly and it's not difficult.

La tela que usa la Señora se llama en españa, AÍDA o PANAMÁ, se usa mucho para el punto de cruz. Existe una tela alemana especial para Hardanger llamada LUGANA, en España hay de fabricación nacional. También hay linos muy interesantes de un fabricante italiano cuya web es www.graziano.it, puedes mirar por internet. Para bordar Hardanger lo importante es que la tela tenga el urdimbre del mismo calibre (grosor) que la trama Y QUE SEA DE ALGODÓN Ó LINO. Esper te sirva esta orientación. Un saludo.🌷🌷🌷

Is it imperative to use 22ct fabric & pearl cotton 5 & 8?

It is also possible to use linen. In that case, usually pearl cotton size 8 & 12 are used. Aida cloth is not recommended because the weave is different. Check out this video with more info. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGizdWNjhKt5eqs
