Hardangervidda - Winter Expedition

A video from when me and a buddy crossed the largest high-mountain plateau in Europe from North to South with skiis, pulks and a tent. We started at Finse and passed by Krækkja, Halne, Stigstuv, Sandhaug, Besso, Litlos and Hellevassbu on out way to Haukeliseter.

Hi, We did 120 km. The coldest was something like - 20 celcius. The temperature was fine when the sun was up though.

Which ski do you use and when do you start?

Started the 8th of April. Used backcountry skis with a permanent short skin underneath. 35mm by the boot, wider up front and in the back. They were good for the conditions we had.
