I highly recommend Until Dawn if you love horror/slasher! It's an amazing horror game interwoven with the butterfly effect based on your choices.

I want you to know I got so excited when I saw the DBD beanie you're wearing, it's nice to see my favorite game repped by a BookTuber I've followed for years! 🥰 Loved the recs for Stardew Valley and DBD! I've read "Camp Slaughter" before and I agree, it's a pretty on-point rec for DBD fans. Getting the POV of the killer really sells it, I think.

This is such a great video!!! I now have added a few new games to my wish list. I mainly just play Animal Crossing. Also I don't think I have ever seen anyone talk about the graphic novel Spectacle I picked it up on a whim at my local library. I also play Stardew Valley every once in awhile. I should go back to it lol. I just picked up The Serpent's Secret at my local used book store and now I can not wait to read it.

For Gris I would also propose The Astonishing Color of After by Emily XR Pan! Similar stories about grief but the book references color constantly so I feel like it meshes well with Gris! (Also if you haven't played Spirit Farer I think you'd love it ❤)

I find it hard to recommend books for DBD as a whole but a lot easier to recommend books for specific killers! BROTHER by Ania Ahlborn for Hillbilly, BLACK HEART BOYS' CHOIR for Trickster, etc.

These are some interesting recs. Though, honestly, I was really disappointed in Camp Slaughter. At first I really enjoyed it, but I was disappointed in how it was presented as a slasher type horror and then inserted a bunch of random paranormal/supernatural type elements. Plus I felt like we got too much of the killer's PoV which really killed it for me (there was also some questionable ableism in the portrayal of him that just made me uncomfortable). BUT anyways, sorry for rambling about that book. . . I definitely agree with your rec of Saga for Overwatch. I'm trying to think of others and blanking at the moment. I was thinking for Gris perhaps The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill which definitely deals with loss related grief just not your usual. For ACNH, or possibly even Stardew Valley, The Tea Dragon Society books would definitely fit here as you get straight up cozy vibes + living the life that makes you happy + diverse romantic rep. Hmmm I've never played Cozy Grove (I own it, just haven't gotten to it yet) I'd say possibly Cemetery Boys - honestly might work for the Sims as well given stories I've heard about ghosts being in those games? - as the story definitely involves a ghost, someone trying to help said ghost move on/find out what happened while trying to achieve their own goals, and well there's romance. I've never played that mummy game but perhaps The Haunting of Tram Car 015 - not going to attempt to explain this book so definitely look up the blurb. Aaand that's all I can think of atm but I was going to say that based on the games you listed here I'd recommend checking out: Spiritfarer, Firewatch, Telltale's The Wolf Among Us, and Telltale's The Walking Dead.
