For an action movie, it has significantly less camera shaking compared to all the "1st person" horror movies. Jolly good show, lads, and I ain't even English.
@zainbath68882 жыл бұрын
"1st person" horror movies? I'm not trying to be an ass but if you mean movies like Blair Witch and As Above So Below, those movies aren't setting it as you being the main character. The difference is that this film took advantage of actually being the character. You are the main character and not a camera that the main character is holding. The horror movies are more "found footage" than anything else. This means that it's supposed to feel like someone is actually holding the camera, and in situations that people are scared shitless I don't think their hands are supposed to be completely sturdy getting perfect camera shots. It's a guy acting like he is frightened holding a camera. His arm is going to be shaking. Therefore the camera is also supposed to be shaking. Again, not trying to be an ass, and I know this is a 4 year comment, just thought I would give my two cents.
@Marco-tg8rb2 жыл бұрын
@@zainbath6888 you know you could have said the final part of your comment without having to explain whats a found footage movie
@zainbath68882 жыл бұрын
@@Marco-tg8rb Better safe then sorry. People always take comments in the worst way possible. Explaining as much as possible limits the amount of wrong understandings and angry commenters. Plus it seemed as though he didn't know the difference between found footage and this type of first person movie. I just wanted to clear the misconstrued thought that he had about the difference between the two different types of camera work.

sad this the only first person movie I wish there is movie like this
@SpikeRose2 жыл бұрын
@@badreedinedjellali1328 With how many injuries and difficulties that were had during production, it's no wonder there aren't many. This type of film also has a very narrow scope for direct storytelling, which I guess is why it works as an action movie.

Such a cracking film. Left me giddy with delight at the crazy antics. I can't stand shakey cam in films because it is usually used to pretentiously add dynamism to a scene. In this it works, and your eyes quickly adjust, because there is a valid reason why the camera is moving. It's not because of some wanky DP but rather that it's a POV film. Top, top entertainment and I hope we hear from the director again soon.

genuinely depressing we’re never getting a sequel. they said that if they made 20m in the global box office a sequel was a given, but I think they only made around 15-16m and they’ve been quiet ever since. rip
