@@pigbenis1938Alright then why are you whining about people not liking the unabomber? It’s a shame he was really smart and amazing at math. And then went “yeah the best point in history was when we all worked on substance farming, and didn’t have access to modern medical care”. What a dumb thing to think, especially considering that was like the worst point in history to be a human. It is much better nowadays, and when we were hunter gatherer’s. Both are an improvement. Aka Ted is wasted potential, because he became a retard.

Just as an info dump for any people interested in the Unabomber, he did not kill dozens of people, although he injured many, he killed three. He also did not set traps outside of his small cabin in the woods in Montana for unassuming bikers. He sent bombs to those that he felt had aided industrialization.
@StormForthcoming Жыл бұрын
“Injured” is severely understating the fact he permanently maimed people with explosives, causing lifelong disabilities such as the loss of an eye or hand. Also note he sent a fair number of these explosives to college professors, not evil politicians. One death was just a guy who worked at a computer store. This comment is framing a deranged man as just a guy who accidentally caused a few deaths on his path of justice, rather than the monster he actually was.
@RevenantNeverDies Жыл бұрын
yeah disabling someone permenantly could just be considered as murder because what are they gonna do with their life after 3 of their limbs are cut off? seriously i hate people who try and make terrorists NOT sound as bad as they actually are@@StormForthcoming

'I did do some monkey-wrenching in the Lincoln area,'' Mr. Kaczynski wrote the Helena newspaper in January. ''I did, for example, attempt to injure trailbikers by setting traps for those who took their motorcycles off the road and back into the hills.''
@drpibisback7680 Жыл бұрын
I think the most relevant thing about the Unabomber is that his targets made very little sense - several university professors, computer repair shop owners, the president of an airline, it's not like he was really targeting people who were actually that important in terms of industrialization. Whatever he thought he was doing, it was mostly just a rampage.
@heroesinhoodies1210Ай бұрын
Last sentence is a half-truth, he also picked targets he thought would draw in large amounts of attention without regard to their actual impact on industrialization(ie. the airplane bomb). Actually he later said that he regretted this one because the target was far too imprecise. And while you could loosely argue university professors are part of the system’s indoctrination machine, I feel those ones were more out of a personal vendetta than objective consideration.
