I can't wrap my head around that there are so many people playing hardcore without having the most basic survival stuff hotkeyed. It's always the same, when panic kicks in half the people frantically look for buttons with their mouse cursor or open their bags to find their pots... recipe for disaster.

0:12 Little fun fact: You can spellreflect sacrifice, then the boss himself gets stunned on the table. But afaik in vanilla isn't a spell reflect so it matters in later addons first...

You can do it in vanilla with engineering shadow reflector. There are spell reflects in vanilla, but only the spell school specific ones from engineering.

Had the tank just held him where he stood, the priest would've been able to be LOS of the boss while being in line to heal the tank and sac targets... and dispel SW:P off the group The tank was trying to line the SW:Pain which moved the boss over to the los area, still, the priest couldve played it better, if he dispelled the SW:P on him and went into that sacrifice with full hp, he wouldn't have died. But none of that should've mattered because they have a shaman in the group WITH GROUNDING TOTEM that could've soaked every sacrifice cast...

@@Preacher_. Grounding also eats SW:P, so it's MUCH easier said than done "omg grounding should have caught it". Grounding is on a 24 second cooldown, so even if you have it up and it hasnt been eaten, it still wont save you from the next cast.

A Greater Shadow Protection Potion does work I believe, if used before the fight. On the altar, you can do nothing as far as I know.

You just have to LOS the Sacrifice. Healer never needs to have LOS on boss anyways. Solo farmed DME in classic and many deaths on sac when getting too relaxed about it.

The first death of the Priest getting sacrificed, thats 99% on the shaman. Grounding totem will eat the sacrifice, and if hes too slow to get grounding down in time then all he has to do is heal the priest...typical tauren shaman player though.

@@bitze865 sure if youre not the healer, the healer does need to sometimes stay in los to heal. and happened to take a sacrifice...if the shaman wasnt an idiot he wouldve had grounding down already, and if the shaman wasnt an even bigger idiot he wouldve been healing the priest during the sacrifice instead of casting a lightning bolt lol

@againsttherest1 especially the healer need to stay out of los... but maybe I didn't specify which one... of the boss... you can not be in los from the boss but still have the tank in sight and the altar... there shouldn't be anyone that takes damage aside from the tank and the sacrifice... so keeping the boss out of it, but the tank and the altar in it is the correct positioning I mean why would you ever put your life in the hands of others if it's not needed... even in a 5 attack guild group?
