Note: Fairies can also lead you to a "big" (at least 40 blocks) gold/platinum/hardmode ore vein, and Strange Plants. The most useful things they lead you to are still Life Crystals and Chests, though.

You know of that sloped platform trick people used to get into the lihzahrd temple pre-Plantera? It's usable on all solid block, so projectiles, even yoyos, can easily phase through the wall, with nothing your enemies can do about it.

tip for what happened at 7:00 when your hardcore character gets auto-deleted after you die, the game just takes the player data files and puts them in the recycle bin. if you go to your recycle bin and click "Restore" on both of the associated files, your character will be restored, with all the same items you had before dying. it definitely can be used to cheat and respawn yourself after dying, but it's useful for deaths like that. i've had plenty of times playing hardcore in multiplayer where i or my friend were killed by invisible enemies and the like, and we use this trick to get around having to remake characters and re-get all our stuff.

I love the high spawn rate challenges, I did a playthrough myself with 30x spawns, but I also added fargo's banner mod that basically made it so you level up from killing enemies and make you deal more damage and take less damage from that enemy, and eventually you just 1 shot that enemy type after like 500 kills. So it gave me the ability to farm slimes/zombies and be able to walk around more freely, and continue to do that to make progression more realistic.

For the goblin army, you can get any kind of flail and be fine. The only enemy that can reach you is the goblin sorcerer, who shoots destroyable projectiles. By swinging any flail, you can destroy all of those projectiles before they reach you. Then just walk into the goblins or let NPCs do damage.

a tip for 17:13 is that a goblin army if you have 200 hp AND a shadow/ crimson heart has been broken, and Eye of Cthulhu will only spawn if you're above ground, if you're in the cavern layer/ underground, the eye wont natrually spawn.
