I like how dv has been playing islands for so long yet he doesn't know that you don't need a blueprint to craft the tidal spell book anymore and you don't need to be combat level 70 to access the void isles

Hey DV, at 9:59, you can smelt the iron and then put the iron into a blast furnace and it’ll automatically smelt it without the need to standardly feed it and wait hours. Hope this helps.

Tips for you dv: you can go to the void isles at level 36, you need to level 70 to craft the portal. you dont need blueprint to craft tidal anymore. you can use blast furnace instead of steel mill, much faster.

In HC, it’s true-you can’t use teleported on other players Islands. You can use one from your Island to Public Islands, like Wizard, The Desert, Buffalkor…etc. Skateboards for new mounts would be awesome.

idk if dv knows this but the blast furnaces make steel manually. You need a lot of coal though you can get steel early in the game a lot easier, but you need a lot of coal because you need like 52 coal to make 50 steel

If you haven’t started hardcore focus on combat and mining. Combat helps a lot with resources and mining also helps with resources. For money get to desert and kill the scorpions. Sell them for a lot of money. I also have the trophy for killing the bosses because I faculae’s on combat.

I have a suggestion, instead of grinding for the broomstick I suggest going straight for a horse. It will take some animal grinding (which no one likes) but it’s worth it

hey dv this is not related to the video but im not usre what to do with my watermelon farm. should i upgrade 1 part of it to max and then wait untill i have enough items to max out another part or should i make my farms totems be like level 20 each and have like 6 different decent farms. (TLDR: should i make 6 decent parts of my watermelon farm or 1 very good part?)

tips for hardcore 1. To get drops fast use bow (yes I was the person to recommend bows to DV) 2. Use blast furnace to get steal early game 3. Get cooking up! you can get drops faster and more mobility 4. Don't just focus on one type of combat (light combat, heavy combat) because all mobs have some sort of weakness so use the combat guide to the fullest 5. Start some sort of auto farm, I have a carrot cake farm but berry farms are really useful but don't forget about tip 7, and tip, 8 6. Start farming hickory wood, yes its annoying but by the time you start farming and have the red bronze you will have the amount of wood to make a t4 bench 7. 1 totem can farm 3 crops without the crop eaters eating them 8. MAKE A PATH FOR ALL SECTIONS OF YOUR FARM (this really only applies to auto farms) crop eaters will spawn on your farm and unless they can go somewhere else then they will stay on the section and eat all your crops. ill make more tips later

Big no no for Steel Mill. I regret that i crafted it first. Blast Furnace is faster and saves time. And Void Isles i got there as soon as i unlocked Desert Island. And i didn't even had lv 70. Maybe the developers forgot to lock the portal for hardcore players?

i have some stuff to make hardcore actually fells like HARDCORE -crafting recipes requieres 25%-100% more ingredients (like ruby block requieres 6 rubies in seat of 4, or red bronze refinery requieres 45 copper and 4 gold in seat of 30 copper ingots and 2 gold ingots to create a single red bronze ingot) single items like oily crops to normal crops can ignore that -you can recieve fall dmg, even in your island, Beware of building! -dying ALSO have a chance to lost any amount of items, no matter of how much hard it was to get it(like weapons, yes, even ur captain's rapier, silly rapier main who only uses it for that 20% luck, you would stop using it if devs remove that percentage lol) -ur mounts/rideable animals have hp, and they'll take dmg for u, if they die, they'll no longer respawn in ur base (so yes, beware horse/duck/yak users) drop chances on anything are cutted by half, like wheat seeds have 5% chance to give u another seed, in hardcore mode it will be 2.5% chance in seat, slimes (all of them, including slime king and queen) have 10% chance to drop gears, in hardcore is cutted to 5% and stuff who have 100% drop chance, is cutted by half, meaning than you have 50% to recieve NOTHING (just xp lel) machineries (automatic and manually ones) can "overuse" and "overwork" themselves and any moment they'll stop working, you have 2 choses, pay to the mechanic /use ingredientes like gears to fix it, or just destroy it and craft one (destroy it will give you a little amount of the original crafting recipe), some manually ones like cheeser and shunner may can't be fixed and forced to re-craft it blocks, ores, trees and any breakeable stuff gains 50% more hp, requiering more hits to mine and adding like a "restringtion" depending of the ore and tool you want to use like: if you want to mine diamond ores but you don't have the right pickaxe, a message will display saying "you can't mine this ore, you need a (insert right pickaxe, in this case, gilded steel pickaxe) pickaxe or higher tier pickaxe to destroy and break this ore" trying to chop spirit tree "you can't chop this tree, you need diamond axe or higher tier axe to destroy the tree" PVP mode is ALWAYS enable and you can't turn it off, if you die to a player, he/she will recieve random items and coins that you "droped" (just like mobs) (leaving while you're in pvp the game will take you than you died and if leave, no matter if was for internet conection, you'll lost MORe coins and RAREr items) healing food/effects (like fish and chips and jolly dagger/slime queen's scepter) and positive status effects are nerfed by 50% and last 75% less, and negavite status effects last x2 longer (like kors's slowdown attack), and to make PVP more dangerous (just like how it was in the pvp island events), these healing and possitive status effecst are cutted by 75% MORE less and you'll be slower depending of your remaing hp (less hp = slower) and disables speeds from animals and brooms at 25% hp, and can't use teleport pads or portals to make pvp really wortheable and dangerous bosses reacts and attacks 100%-350% faster when targetting u in hardcore mode villager's merchandise prices are 25% more expensive and selling gives 10% less coins and like that
