As most of you can definitely tell, it's been 2 months since the first half was released. For the sake of a brief recap, Jaws (NES by the already-defunct LJN/Westone) and Contra, Super C, Contra 3 - The Alien Wars & Contra Hard Corps (NES, Super NES & Genesis by Konami) were all showcased and revisited, with the latter being a "special guest" feature alongside the penultimate.
In case anyone hasn't viewed it, I'd refer to the following link if I were you: • The Hardcore Retro God...
NOW, in regards to this long-awaited finale of a 2nd Half, here are the following I've revisited, with which everyone should be familiar by now:
Ninja Gaiden 1, 2 - The Dark Sword of Chaos & 3 - The Ancient Ship of Doom (NES, by Tecmo - currently Koei Tecmo)
Kabuki Quantum Fighter, Shatterhand & VICE Project Doom (NES, by HAL Laboratory / the also-defunct Human Corporation; the also-defunct Jaleco / Natsume - currently Natsume Atari; Sammy - currently Sega Sammy / the also-defunct Aicom, later Yumekobo)
Rambo (NES, by the also-defunct Acclaim Entertainment / Pack-in-Video) & Rambo III (Genesis, by Sega) - based on David Morrell's character and Orion/TriStar/Carolco (assigned to StudioCanal)/Lionsgate film franchise, featuring Stallone as the titular "Lone Wolf" commando
Words can't express how much I regret having delayed my post-production progress, not to mention my scheduling difficulties being askewed on account of arbitrary distractions (for which I intend to atone by any means necessary)... Despite this, however - since today is MLK Day (considering it revolves around the life and legacy of the late activist, and mostly to reflect on his values of racial equality and nonviolent social change)...it's also a day for others to not only re-commit to building a more just and equitable world, but mostly for me to accomplish the same. Though, in my case, I wish to somehow rekindle my desires to pump out more uproarious-albeit-knowledgeable content like what we're about to view, and what we've already viewed by now - while, at the same time, be wary of everyone else's expectations in terms of being timely and ensuring the quality and authenticity of my content without faltering, or otherwise falling by the wayside, AS LONG AS I'M NOT COMING OFF AS ANYTHING BENEATH SAID EXPECTATIONS OR TURNING INTO A STIFF.
Speech aside, enjoy, one and all!
