Starset is literally the most interesting band I've ever discovered. Not only do they support a specific awareness, their music alines in a cinematic way, and a novel is being released. PLUS their music is beyond amazing and beautiful. Can we all agree his voice is amazing? You can tell he's one smart guy!

I got to meet them in Houston. I turned around and Dustin was just there, and said hi. I remember it taking me a second to process who I was talking to. They're all so nice. They act like perfectly normal down to earth people. I've got a lot of respect for the bands that don't act like they're too good to talk to the fans.

I learned of Starset because they recently toured with Breaking Benjamin. Back in March, the day before the show, I got on KZbin and pulled up the video for "My Demons" so I could have some idea of who Starset is before going to see them. I fell in love almost instantly. The video started, I realized they had this cool, sci-fi thing going on, and then it hit the chorus and I was sold. Dustin is such a fascinating person with so many talents and I really love his vision for Starset. Watching this interview, he definitely strikes me as the sort who has a grand plan in mind and a specific reason for each of the creative choices he makes. I can't wait to see where Starset goes from here and I hope they come back to Eugene, OR on their next tour, whenever that may be.

+Your Sub I don't see myself getting tired of listening to 'Transmissions' any time soon. I've lost count of how many times I've listened to it and it has yet to get old. Lucky for you though, a new album is currently in the works. :) I'm so excited!
@AzraelPercussionNEO8 жыл бұрын
Your Sub Transmissions is just one of those few albums, that yes, it MIGHT get old after a while of SUPER CONSTANT REPETITIVE listening, but you know in your head that you will want to listen to them down the road and will have no regrets putting that CD in your CD player. I still find inspiration in this album, I still work out to it at the gym *still* (although now I have been listening to more of Rise Against's Revolutions Per Minute *older music), and would defintely prefer to play Transmissions and my specifically selected and favored music bands over the lame ol' radio any day (although you need the radio to listen to upcoming trends)

STARSET = POST MODERN ROCK (DIVING INTO THE TRANSITION BETWEEN MODERN SOCIETY AND OUR FINAL FRONTER WHICH IS SPACE)...PRAISES TO THIS AMAZING ALBUM (TRANSMITTIONS) FOR COMING OUT. THIS ALBUM SENDS A MESSAGE TO SOCEITY THAT WE SHOULD BE FOCUSING ON GETTING HUMANITY INTO SPACE, EMBRACE THE FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPT OF SCIENCE, NATURE, UNITY,PROGRESSION, STRUGGLE, COMPASSION, LOVE, TEAMWORK, AND INGENUITY. YET CONTINUE TO EMBRACE THE OLD CONCEPTS OF DIVERSITY, UNIQUENESS, SELF-DISCOVERY, FEARLESSNESS, INDEPENDENCE, SELF-WORTH, AND EMBRACING THE CONCEPT OF THE GENINUE SELF....MADE RESPECT FOR PUTTING ELEMENTS OF "NIKOLA TELSA" AND THE TRUE SCIENTIST THAT ADVOCATED FOR A BETTER SOCEITY VERSUS TRYING TO CONTINUE TO SATISFY SOME COMPANY OR CAPITALISTDIC CONCEPT!

These guys are from the midwest. They've probably seen all the cooler big cities. Interesting he mentions history. Historical stuff is everywhere but that is vague. It's so poppy sounding that people will latch fast but I'm curious about the serious long term direction. I am going to assume he is a parent like myself. The videos say a lot. Just sincerely invite someone like N.D.T. to be in a video next time. That guy loves music.

You were built to live on the road but you are one of the worst live performing bands in present times. Though, your studio albums are some of the best produced albums in modern rock. Just keep doing music and stay with the same label, they’re obviously doing a great job!
