Hardest boss in Blasphemous - Isidora voice of the dead, no damage

She's fine in the first phase but as soon as she activates the fire then the issues begin

It took me days do defeat her, even when i found a pattern in the fire and her attacks in the second phase there is a lot of rng needed to success

Really? Don’t get me wrong the fight was hard but only because the boss has so much damn health. Most of her moves were well telegraphed and easily punishable in my experience.

@@nutscrescentHer first phase is only a cakewalk if you have great parry skill, while her second phase is a nightmare no matter how good you are at the game. Only the crimson mist spell can make this fight easier.

I used the spell that makes you invincible for like 5 seconds. Took me about an hour and a half still and had to basically get through the first phase completely unscathed and then in the second phase used the invincible prayer like 6 times and all of my bile flasks and just barely squeaked it out.

I think it took me like 10 attemps to beat her, She is the hardest and at the same time my prefered boss for the music and that combat, once you understand how it works you release it's very good!

Its quite hard to keep pressure on her, even in times i had a window to attack i had to waste it to get a better positioning for any incoming attack she does, this fight is far more easy and enjoyable if you use viridiana's prayer but i wanted to do this focusing on using the sword

Isidora is the hardest boss I found in my playthrough. You do very little damage compared to other bosses and have to study her attacks extremely well. Took me about a week to finish her off. Probably at least 50 attempts

Definitely! At least this fight feels like you are making progress with most attempts by learning her attacks and how and when to dodge, parry, and punish. I also found the final son to be difficult but that fight was super lame in my opinion. Beating Isidora was probably the highlight of the game for me.

I find True ending Crisanta easier than Isidora, her patterns are more easy to learn and there is not homing fireballs taking almost half of the screen

You just have to be quick and pay attention to her and parry when you see her coming, if you have trouble with that then you can simply dash forward and dodge her attack. I think she is a very fair boss exceptfor the homing fireballs in the second phase, but still the game gives you prayers to work around them

okay but hear me out, simply leave her for like the late game, complete cleofas quest and get the prayer tiento to your thorned hairs, build the faceless warrior build on yt, and she literally becomes so easy, took me like 2 or 3 attempts, and not just her, any boss becomess a piece of cake xd. but gg for the battle.

For me this was easy although not with no damage, the snake was the hardest for me, that boss without the shield prayer is a pain cause of the blue orbs and electricity then the wind pushing you

You can parry the blue orbs, equip the rosary bead that lets you parry attacks that come from behind and those blue orbs he summons from the tail wont be a problem

Correct, blocking grants s, with good timing, positioning and prediction you can use the block s to get rid off the fireballs without taking damage, take im mind you only have s while the penitent one is pushed back so if you parry with your back against the wall you dont get s

For me, Crisanta is harder. I retried 2-3 times to beat Ishidora, but 5-6 times to beat Crisanta.

In terms of no hit runs i find Isidora harder because of the rng in her homing fireballs, with Crisanta i have a consistent strategy to beat her hitless

Beat her the second day it was available, an awesome fight, but is quite easy. Zarabanda prayer is a cheat code, makes good work of the tracking fire, then you just focus and get combinations down

Zarabanda prayer is crazy good, is very satisfying to use a certain prayer and rosary beads to make a boss not stand a chance, that prayer + the mea culpa heart that erases projectiles with your attacks make the lady of the charred visage powerless, tho i picked the babies prayer just because it looks cool and allows me to do chip damage while moving but recently i found lorquiana is way more useful and is underrated

For defense boosts against fire equip the next rosary beads: piece of a golden mask for 25% more defense against fire, quirce's scorched bead for an extra 35%, seashell of the inverted expiral for another 10%, if you want to go more far also equip the frozen olive for a 50% defense boost against all attacks but only when health is below 20% and the light of the lady of the lamp for 20% more defense boost when you ran out of healings... as for prayers if you finished Viridiana's questline you can use the prayer she gives to you to make the shields spinning around you delete the fire orbs isidora creates and that helps if you have trouble with them
