great video! the only thing I would suggest would be to show us how you simplify each problem, it makes it slightly hard to follow and confusing at some parts if you don't know how to. The main issue for me was how you get to 2x^-3x from 2x^2 - 2x^2cos30. also it was slightly hard to understand during the end of the video how you simplified everything to get 1-2root3 / 200 x^2

4:00. Hi, I'm confused about the +9 in the quadratic equation, shouldn't it be -9 as you need take 9 from both side to get 0? Thanks!
@teddy06632 жыл бұрын
He didn’t minus 9, he kept it there and made the left side equal 0 so -100x + 100xsquared

21:31 Q: how is it going from 2x^2-square root 3 x^2 -200 to over -200 +1
@Noah-bx3li5 жыл бұрын
because you have divided both sides by -200, so -200*-200 gives +1

Yeh, he made a little mistake
@finnwilde2 жыл бұрын
No he didn't make a mistake. (plz know what you're talking about before telling someone they're wrong Abylay) He did the equivalent of subtracting 9 - as you say - to get -100x^2 + 100x - 9 = 0 and then multiplied both sides by -1 (to make the coefficient of x^2 positive) to get 100x^2 - 100x + 9 = 0. Or you can visualise it as him subtracting -100x^2 and 100x from the left-hand side of the equation to get 0 = 100x^2 - 100x + 9 So yeah, he didn't make a mistake, he just skipped a small step which has confused you a little bit. Hope that helps and have a good day!

Easy Maths. Would you mind if I passed on these problems and your elegant solutions to " Mind your decisions"? I would like to see his method of solving them. With your permission , and thanks for great video solutions.

15:08 shouldn't you have multiplied the 1/2 onto 32/18 which gets you 16/9, then you multiply it by 9 to get the correct unit?
@costrix56972 жыл бұрын
he cancelled the 9 and 18 to get 1/2 and then multiplied 32 by 1/2

why did he make x=9/10 and not x=1/10?
@trulysetahul84585 жыл бұрын
yeah I thought he said that x=9/10 was greater than 1, so we had to use 1/10. Thats just confused me! :(
@lordangel95634 жыл бұрын
@@trulysetahul8458 his problem was with the way he denoted his probabilities, he shouldn't have denoted the probability of the win as x in the first place, that should have been the probability of losing, 1-x as the probability of winning game a, 4x as the probability of winning game b and 1-4x the probability of losing game b; and it makes sense.. why even denote a probability with x at the start when u didn't have information given about it by the question, just call em P(winIA) if u really want to
