Hi, No BB3 is not radially split it is axial split type. Looks like slide is same as BB2. Thanks for pointing out this.

I am designing a 15 story building and need to pump water to a tank on the rooftop 240 ft. I have a 12" dia. Pipe. The water is filtered before being pumped upward. What type of pump should I use? I usually call 2 or 3 pump representatives to come and give me a quote. Thought I would check with you first. This is a high end appartment building and they will use a lot of water.

Pump manufacturer will suggest best sustainable solution. It must be single or double stage centrifugal Pump. Most probably single stage will be enough. This may be multi pump arrangements to meet flow rate.

@@redasharawy9 first no I don't know the tenet usage. Example, first floor might be retail and restaurant one floor could be storage lockers, top floor a couple purchased as a huge penthouse, 2 floors are apartments. So the best is to design for the most usage along mechanical sizing.
