2 things to say: If it wasn't for Brandon Lee and the movie Rapid Fire, I wouldn't know you guys. I was a huge rap hip hop guy ( I am from Brooklyn, NY) back in high school and when I saw the movie and heard your music, I became a rocker! It changed my life. Thank you Hardline for being a part of my life till this day! Someday, somewhere, 100 or even 1000 years and beyond, some teenage kid is going to find Hardline's music and when they listen to it, they're gonna say: "This is F'N Awesome dude." Hardline is timeless!

Hi Johnny, I wanted to share a story about how your music bridged a 45-year age gap between my son and me. Back in 1992, your band Hardline released "Double Eclipse," which became my all-time favorite album. Your voice and music were a significant part of my youth. Recently, I was watching "Rapid Fire" with Brandon Lee when my son peeked around the corner and asked about the song playing at the end of the movie. I was thrilled to tell him about my favorite band, Hardline, and the song "Can't Find My Way." My son then mentioned that the voice sounded very similar to the singer associated with his favorite video game, Sonic. Looking into it, we discovered that you are the lead vocalist for Crush 40, his favorite band. This created a connection between us, where for the first time, we found common ground in our mutual love for your music, narrowing the generational gap that often felt like a chasm. It's incredible how your career has impacted not only my life but now also my son's. Thank you for being such an amazing artist and for creating music that transcends generations. Your work has truly brought my son and me closer together, and I am forever grateful for that.

Great tune from the era of the Power Ballads. Hardline was a "Super Band" that didn't truly get it's due but it also stands the test of time when others did not. I have a story from back in 1986 the first time that I met the Gioeli Brothers. I was in a band called Sabotage at the time and we were booked to open for Killerhit at Swizzles in York PA. I had known Jay King and Chris Gudat from their work in previous bands in the Maryland, PA, Virginia and West Virginia clubs. This was kind of debut for Killerhit in this area. You guys were so tight and you know when a band truly has it when they stand out and come across bigger than life on stage. You guys had that type of Prescence. Then at that time Johnny you and Joey would take turns as the front man and drummer for different tunes. It was the one thing that exhibited the talent in your band and between you two. Myself and one of the lead guitarist's from our band actually spoke to your father who was very nice and very cool. I wish you well and your bother well Johnny .
