How to Hard Reset SAMSUNG Galaxy S10e - Bypass Screen Lock / Hardware Reset

Thank you! I must have spent 6 hours trying to figure out how to erase the data on my S10e phone with a broken, unreadable and unresponsive screen. I wanted to wipe the data so I could return it to the insurance company who already sent me a new phone (10S+). I tried remote reset (unsuccessful due to no network connection), usb connection to my pc (did not allow me to view the phone's files without pressing the screen to authorize), and adapter dongle to connect HDMI to my TV and mouse (no luck because the screen was locked with floating clock, always on display ). I was ready to give up when I decided to look for keystroke pattern to reset the device using only the power and volume/bixby keys. I followed your video and even though I was unable to see my screen, your clear video allowed my to do the factory reset. Thank you for peace of mind for not having to worry about my personal data on my broken phone!

You have to conect the phone to a pc or another phone and do the same steps

Weird that they made it such a complex method. Every phone I've owned has a factory reset option in settings menu. One more reason I hate this phone.

it didn't work for me all it did was from the three button thing it came up witht the android thing but took me back to the main screen not the andriod system

I forgot to input passcode first :-( Now to set up as new phone it says "an unauthorised attempt has been made to reset you device to factory default settings. Connect to a Wi-Fi or mobile network to verify your identity" No I have cancelled the service and I don't have Wi-Fi nor the Google account

I just tried this method. All it does on my s10e is take a screen shot. This must Asian model reset only.

@@SamsonMcarthy-oo6cb ya, that didn't work either. No worries though. Already returned that pile of garbage. The speakers and buttons are in awkward locations, and it gets warm as hell
