... because iam so new to this fen-OM-in-OM of GVF, only 3 weeks ago, did i hear and see them on Utube for the 1st time. Wow-!!! it's fresh, it's gr8, it's right, and i got it str8 away and i feel just like i did when i was 10 in 1962, and the Beatles hit. Everything changed and was suddenly morphed up a very perceivable quantum notch. And for that kind of a cosmic slap shift in awareness to happen only once in a lifetime, is a mirical, but twice, is unprecedented. And I love it. So, may GOD BLESS EV'ER'Y ONE. I love finding these record stores in different towns. I've found some real gem LPs this way..) GVF have such strong ties to older rock and blues, it really shows in their music, and especially live. They are doing an amazing job of waking up Rock n Roll. I'd love to interview their parents.

Drugs makes for better music - listen to any Beatles album from "Help" all the way to "Let It Be". All Stones albums, All Dylan albums, all Who records, hell any band from the 60 till now...almost. Question is, can they handle it?

When the interviewer asked what albums they picked up, in the back of my head I said “Fleet Foxes”. And sure enough that’s exactly what Danny started with. I’m a big FF fan, too. Although unlike Danny my favorite album of theirs is the self titled debut.
