Yeah Hard Techno for me. I do like Hardstyle but it's not a genre I listen to often. That doesn't mean I hate it tho, I love Hardstyle, especially Rawstyle but Hard Techno takes it cuz that's literally the first ever genre that got me into EDM in general

There are some tracks where they blend hard/rawstyle with techno. I like to call it raw techno 2 Be High by Warface & Nico Moreno is a good example. Hit the floor by Bloodlust & Holy Priest is another one. They use raw kicks and techno beats. they sounds so cool.

I like hard techno a lot, but I also really like euphoric hardstyle... I'm calling it a tie between those two. By the way, just an observation, we have dark hardstyle and rawstyle tracks and dark hard techno tracks; we also have euphoric-type hardstyle so where's the euphoric hard techno? what would that even be? any pointers? awesome video, saved a bunch of these into my playlist

because euphoric hard techno is an oxymoron in and of itself. Euphoric hardstyle only came into existence because one of the parent genres of hardstyle is hard trance. It evolved those atmospheric synths and polished them simplified them to give them a a drive akin to a forward motion instead of the circular, revolving and in some cases permutating nature of the melodies in hard trance. While Hard techno is the most straight forward genre of techno, techno is genre that operates as all techno genres in a non linear way, it works with layers and the subtle variations and is more experiential (an image would be a constantly shifting wall of sound) whereas (euphoric) hardstyle is more expressive and to the point (like driving through a lanscape with a path cleared by explosions)

@@djtrenderz tik tok is not evolving genres, it's devolving. Tekno became hypertechno, industrial became hard techno, and the actual hard techno became just techno. Those kids just take an existing genre, slap some rawstyle screeches on it, lable it another existing genre and call it a day. And what happened to phonk isn't necessarily tiktoks fault, it started with spotify ruining phonk, then these tik tok fvcktards came and ruined the whole genre.

Travel back in time and be part of the scenes for a long time, and then defend yourself against these retarded tik tok children, trying to ruin the techno and harder styles scene. Everything was better when this music was still underground.
