I have the same mixer board, how do i get to hear the sound if i connect a head phone into the front jack on the mixer? i have tried increasing the volume of the phone knob on the board and i have also tried 3 different head phones but no sound comes but these same head phones works well on other digital boards tested with. Do i have to route the sound into it or something

Hi, i need help, I tried to connect my new PreSonus studiolive 16.0.2USB to my computer but i could not launch Studio One. Studio One gives this error message, what does the error mean? "Failed to open line (StudioLive 16.0.2 USB)! please make sure that the sample rates of your recording and playback devices match"

CIAO ,sono lucio, ho da poco un mixer studio live 16.0.2 e lo connetto al mio imac . Ho notato che ha difficoltà ad collegarsi come scheda audio, ma ci riesco ,solamente che poi sia l'audio da mac che l'audio dalla daw(studio one 5) si riproduce a scatti anche con buchi lunghi.Io ho sostituito il cavo ,la daw,i driver e il risultato eè sempre lo stesso .Cosa debbo fare? ho provato a collegare il cavo Firewire ad un altra scheda e funziona perfettamente,Quindi problemi di softweare? grazie

Question: I just purchased this Studiolive 16.0.2 mixer in the USB version (my laptop and PC do not have Firewire). Should I exchange it for the Firewire version? At the time, I didn't know that Firewire has been the standard for audio devices. Or is there a way to get more from the USB version? (ie, via some kind of adapter/hub?). I intend to use this mixer connected to laptop for live performance/recording, and live backing tracks for small band.

Firewire is pretty much on its way out, you'd do best to stick with USB.

I have the 16.0.2 and trying to figure out how to get zero Latency vocal monitoring using Studio One 2 Pro ... Wouldn't happen to know how or be able to point me to a resource huh?

+Jaboof Thanks! For zero latency, You could monitor straight off the board - just plugin headphones/monitors and don't route the output of the DAW into the digital ins on the board. You should also be able to get near zero latency, in most occasions, with a properly built computer. Is there anyway to adapt this to the new thunderbolt 3 ports? The Apple adapter only plugs into Thunderbolt 1 and 2 ports it seems. A lot of the newer computers based on the Intel Skylake processors are coming with thunderbolt 3 ports which are smaller.

I have this mixer. While it only has the 4 stereo channels, it does have the link feature which allows you to link 2 mono channels together so they function like one stereo channel. I believe this feature is common to the whole Presonus StudioLive line.

No I haven't. I was doing some research on this just the other day and discovered apple released a thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2 adapter, so I think there is some hope for that. There was a couple others that came out by other companies, but the reviews were quite bad so I never tried one and they were more expensive than the apple adapter. I still wish someone would make a straight thunderbolt 3 to firewire adapter.

0OBEDIA, I've had one of these for a few years, but do due space constraints I never really used it. I used an Audiobox 44SL, which is also a MIDI interface. Can I use this StudioLive 16.0.2 as a MIDI interface, too? (like to send SysEX data to my 80s-90s keyboards)
