This is a video on using free resources and skills you can learn to make some cool stuff. Do we need a fancy work bench, probably not but its better than the other option.. Land Fill.... This also may be helpfull to those thinking about installing hard wood flooring in your home. Its all the same this just happens to be a work bench...

Man! ... there is a video for everything ... exactly what I wanted to see. Have some left over flooring and wanted to create a workbench out of it in my new shed/cabin in the yard. Thanks for taking the time to make and share the video. Excellent resource.

Almost looks like you know what you're doing, that turned out real sweet. It's amazing how many tools one ends up using to do a job like that. I'd have a good time sitting around your shop, just listening to the music--nice selection. Merry Christmas to you.

Great job! I have some unfinished 3/4" oak I'm going to use to made a free standing workbench. I think I'll end up using 3/4" ply as my underlayment then just screw that with some strong tie brackets to some braced 4x4s cut to the right height. Then all I have to do is sand it smooth and cut my bench dog holes for woodworking, install my vices and done!

Turned out nice! I love free stuff, even if it does render a work bench useless...well, not useless, but I would turn it into a white glove bench/station at this point...Nice tools, and clean shop! Looks good!

Nicely done! Love the work bench but I couldn't help focusing on the tools. The whir of the mitre saw, the whine of the table saw, takes me back to my childhood. My daddy was a carpenter and I grew up around those sounds. Knew how to use them too. Daddy made sure of that. He didn't have that kick-ass floor nailer though. Pretty awesome. Ok, I admit, I'm a woman who loves tools and making things. Does that make me weird?

Great video! And that is now a really nice bench. I do think your shop is too well organized, if you would throw more stuff around on the floor to trip over I would feel much more at home. :) great channel, man
