I still get chills hearing that speech at the end about the quit napkin in the tip jar. If that doesn’t make you feel some type of way idk what will. HARDY has grown into somebody I will forever look up too and I can’t wait to see where the future takes him as a singer and songwriter. 💯

Thanks for this mini doc; came to find Hardy from the crow side of his music. That album, more specifically the title song, get me emotional every time I listen to it. The song and album are relatable to my life - I am also a crow.

I have been a fan of Hardy lyrically since he helped write “ up down . “ After listening to the Mockingbird and the crow album on repeat for 😅 let’s just say long enough to know every word . And attending the tour in Augusta, and when he took the time for me to talk with him afterwards . This dude literally has a crazy schedule but he took the time to hear what I had wanted to say to him and gave me a hug .(it was about a loss) I felt like you really do begin to know him with this album you see the art behind his lyrics . Not just catchy 3 min radio plays but literally genius writing and talent. He is one fucking awesome dude and I’ll be fan of his music indefinitely.
@huntercloud1928 ай бұрын
One of my favorite songs on the album is This ain’t a radio song, especially when the generic country song part sounds really good but is clearly satire. Fantastic album. Can’t wait for what’s next
@geraldrowan89607 ай бұрын
Dude I love that song. Fits so well into the album too, like as he’s making this grand transition into rock he just casually proves he can still write country bangers

Bro just got fuckin chills!! That shit was too good!! HARDY is literally the main reason I'm a fan of country now!! I'm from the south but I've never really been a huge fan of country. It was never that I didn't like it, I've just always been a huge metal fan. So coming from a true metalhead you are exactly what we need going on in music right now for sure!! I'll never forget the feeling the first time I heard the double bass in BOOTS!! Or Radio Song with one of da GOATS Jeremy McKinnon FUCKIN GREAT!! Hell yeah Hardy keep doin you bro and FUCK anybody who doesn't respect what you do!! The whole concept and everything even down to the cover art for mockingbird and The CROW was super dope and some of the coolest shit I've seen a newer artist do in a long time!! 💯👏🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🤯🫡😎🤠🤘🏻😈🤘🏻🔥🏆👑🏁

Hell yes. I have dug through YT for interviews, tidbits; watch everything i could ever find, and always looking for his input on how he made the album and how its evolving for him. He's easily become my favorite artist, not just for the music but for the artistry behind it, how his brain works, how he writes, how he completely threw a wrench into the system and created a machine. Havent found an artist like him, maybe ever. Easily most respectable artist.

HARDY! man, you're one of my favorite artists. You definitely kill it between Rock & Country and that a style I'm gonna keep listening to. Both of my 2 favorite music into one artist. And these short films and series that you do, man, I hope you keep doing them for every record you put out. I love watching stuff like this. You get to know the artist more and who they are, which makes the fans (listeners) understand you and what you're about. I'm looking forward to kickass rockin country music, bud! Keep it up!! 💯 🤘🏼

Been a headbanger since forever, but love country, too. Got to see Hardy in December in Biloxi, MS. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Right up there with Judas Priest. Looking forward to your next project, Michael Hardy 🤘🤘🤘

this goes to prove the difference in writing a sellout song that will be played on the radio and writing a song because you ENJOY it. Passion is so much better than doing what sells. Knowing how to write a good country song is different than writing a fun song full of passion. The radio songs are big for a couple months and theyll never be played again. Songs of passion will go down in history. Look at songs like Master of Puppets. It's so clear to me what songs are some sort of song writer make money song and which song is something they wanted to do and didnt follow any rules.
