These songs and performance is a tribute to Joe Diffie who passed in 2020. John Deere Green - 1993. Pickup Man - 1994. However, the same night the three surprised us long-time country fans with this tribute, HARDY released a studio version of these two tracks, but they're not exactly covers. The studio versions, both songs have Joe Diffie original vocals on redone songs. ...Green feat. HARDY & Wallen & Pickup Man feat Malone. Pickup Man has been released to country radio, so Post Malone will be on the country airways. The band in the live performance is Wallen's band: Mark "Taco" Annino, "Cowboy" Luke Rice, Dominic Frost, Tyler Tomlinson, Chris Gladden (the black fiddle player) & Tony Aichele wearing the John Deere hat.

1st. Wallen and Hardy butchered that song, their voices are not made to sing that style of country. 2nd. You’re girl didn’t even try to give that a chance. I’m actually shocked you posted this.

It was just a bad live performance. Which is probably caused by them moving around too much. The studio version with them 2 is good.
