After reading these comments I felt like I needed to tell my story. I was 19 and my wife 17 when we got married and our Baby Girl was born 5 months later. With good parents to help support us morally and financially we had another girl and a boy. All the children are successful and married without causing us any heartaches. The first Baby Girl is a Clinical Psychologist and works with young school children. She has been a true blessing for the whole family. This March we will celebrate 50 years of marriage. Life is good and life is what you make it sometimes. Things happen for a reason.

This hits so close to home for me. I was a surprise for my parents. And they were debating on whether to keep me or not. 20 years later, I was the paramedic treating my mom on what would be her last ride to the hospital. Unlike this young man, I couldn't save her..... and it hurts every day. Thank you for making music that touches my soul

Kyle, one medic to another, you did your best and God did the rest; your Mom isnt gone she's in you fueling your fire on every call. We don't always see the light in the darkest times but when the clouds break we find that shimmer that gives us the peace to know we left it all on that stretcher with all we had. Keep your chin up and channel Mama's loving hands in the hardest of calls and she'll show you she's only gone from her physical, worldly body. I cried on this one! I was 15 when I faced the drug store bathroom and tons of tear and lots of fears! But I’d trade absolutely NOTHING for it all! He’s now 22 and would take a bullet for me and I for him! And for his daddy. If things hadn’t happened the way they did I might not be married to his daddy (my best friend) and might not have the three beautiful humans we made together! So thank you for this special song from the bottom of my heart! ❤️💜❤️💜

I absolutely can relate to this song…it tells my life story so well. My husband and I are high school sweethearts, we got married when we were 17 and had a baby girl a few months later, graduated high school. We went on to have two more baby girls, they are all grown now with families of their own. My husband and I are getting ready to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Honestly, I didn’t think we would make it but here we are.❤ Our friends and my husband’s family stood by us and helped us through some rough times but we are still thriving every single day. God is good! Thank you for this wonderful song and video it is really a picture of my life.❤❤❤

Smack dab in the face with this one. Had my son at 17, been with his daddy for 17 years. I cant rememeber when I first heard this. but i can relate so much to the line "felt like the end of the world, now the world dont spin without em". when i found out i was pregnant, it couldn't have been three months after I got married to my husband. I waited for like a whole day, asking my boss for a raise, asking my best friend what he thought I should do, and praying my parents would take me in if things went south. I actually thought my husband might leave, because he had just taken on a risky career path that had been his passion that neither of us wanted him to give up. now that I have my son in my arms and not my belly, it's a real game changer. I thought it was horrible at first because I wouldnt be able to work and we were just starting our lives together...but seeing this baby boy smile it just the best feeling in the world. wouldnt trade him for anything

I love the message in this video. Been happily married for thirty-one years. And it all started with a pregnancy test and a huge "Oh-no-now-what" moment. Raised four boys with this man. I'd do it all again. The song resonates.

So the message I get is drinking and making dumb decisions is a good thing. Or at least that’s what they’re trying to make it sound like.
@maryo.paddock80934 жыл бұрын
@@rebeltexan2814 You missed the point. My husband likes to say that God can turn our worst decisions into blessings if we give them over to him. PS. There was no beer or smoking involved in our decision. We just liked each other a whole, whole lot. :)
@timeaandrea114 жыл бұрын
@@rebeltexan2814 the message you should get is that what may seem the worst at one point in hindsight will at another point be a blessing. My life in denmark didnt feel right, seemed perfect on paper but just couldnt settle. Moved to the UK and met my husband there but i had to leave family behind. Best decision i ever made was listening to my heart and gut and leavin.

@@connorwilson2089 Okay, I will say that MOST rap is crap. Most of It's misogynistic, has disgusting lyrics, puts people down, anti cop, anti EVERYTHING. I am not narrow minded. I've given rap a chance several times some yrs ago, cause my sons were listening to it and I was appalled. The lyrics just made my sons angry and MAD AT THE WRONG PEOPLE. So speaking from a mother's viewpoint, it's crap. They are now both Libertarian like me and lean conservative. Thank goodness. Oh, and they don't listen to that crap anymore!
