Personally I think its better! He sang this at guitars and stars which is an acoustic concert and it sounded just as good in person. Right after the concert i headed here for the acoustic version and was not dissapointed. I can't count how many times I've listened to since then lol

Listened to the album version and wasn't all that impressive. Then was flipping through KZbin and saw this version. Now this is a game changer. I listened once then thought wow this is something different from the orginal. He sounds like this just happened to him or still is . He was really selling it. I believe for modern country music its equivalent to He Stopped Loving Her Today. Its one of those songs you have to warm up to , but once you do , you will be one of your favorites from now on.
