Hardy is awesome and you did a fantastic reaction. And you nailed it as "Hardy Music" he is truly a genre of his own because nothing really fits him as a whole. Please do more Hardy.

Thanks! He’s really awesome and I grabbed tickets to Country Thunder in Bristol just to catch his show! His management likes to make these reactions a bit tough as I usually have to wait a bit to clear copyright hurdles, but I will do more. It’s too fun not too!

Sold Out is my wives favorite song. I checked out radio song not too long ago and it got me. Totally loved it!!!

I’ve been rocking out to Sold Out for about a week straight! That song hits in all the right spots and the lyrics are witty AF. Loving it! May have to fire up some more HARDY for this channel!

I have always leaned more towards country music, but I am loving Hardy's rock side. He just has great songs in either genre and I especially like how he uses words in different way like in his song "A Rock" and "screen".

He’s very tongue in cheek with his lyrics. Seems there can be a lot of double-meaning behind some words. Really smart song writing! The kick-ass guitar riffs don’t hurt either. 🎸

So Hardy has a song called Radio Song featuring Jeremy Mckinnon from a Day to Remember. It's another little insight to writing for country music. Very tongue in cheek sarcastic as the main chorus is a country song type that labels would love, only to take a turn at the end of the chorus. Kinda brilliant really. You should check it out. There is language in that one as well, and for me, not always being super into language in songs, if it fits it fits. And this one does not disappoint. Great reaction to the Mockingbird and the Crow. First time seeing ypur channel, liked and subscribed.

Thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it. I’ll have to check that song out. He seems like a very intelligent songwriter despite the outward appearance. I’m really digging what I hear. As for the language, I use enough of it in my daily life. I’m just still stuck in 2002 radio mode where language immediately has me thinking I’m losing half my sponsors and a third of my audience. Gotta retrain my brain a bit on that. Thanks for the like and subscribe! I’m less than a month in on this channel but plan to be quite active.

When it crosses over from country to more rock it kinda gives me Puddle of Mud vibes and Whoever said Hardy can’t sing needs to lay off the crack pipe.

I'm not the biggest Puddle of Mudd fan so I've got to give HARDY a bit more credit than that, but I do know exactly what you mean. We used to call it "Swamp Rock" and it's a particular southern (Mississippi, Arkansas, etc.) sound similar to 3 Doors Down and Saving Abel. As for his singing, some people referred me to a song (Sold Out) that he did at a wrestling event where he sang outside in the middle of the arena. Anyone who knows anything about acoustics knows that's the WORST place to get good sound from... which is why the Superbowl half-time show is always lip-synched instead of actually sung. Meh.
