@@malfabian1690 Actually a piece of meat was found lying inside their house which looked like cow meat.The crowd got angry & beat the father & son.The very piece of the meat was sent to the lab for testing & identifications Then CM of U.P. announced the compensation in form of government job & immediate monetary relief as whooping amount as close to 50 lakh rupees some four years back, when the incident took place, perhaps to make up their political image (I agree that no amount of money & job can compensate the loss of life). Later further proceedings & testing of the lab did reveal that it was cow meat .

@@malfabian1690 I also missed out that some of the attacking people were arrested, tried & duly imprisoned. The family of akhlak had held a family function a daý or two earlier than the incident & the said piece of meat was recovered from their house.
