how about a comparison of brass vs tungsten beads? Sinking rates, why you might prefer one over the other? And how about setting up a "wish list" for us new kids to put patterns we're interested in or struggling with...I really enjoy all the videos...both fishing and fly tying. The two of you do a bang up job!

does it have to be a brass bead? I've never seen anyone twist dubbing on counter clockwise. I understood that if one did it in that direction it would untwist as one wrapped it onto the shank.

Nope. Tungsten beads are also great! We’ve never had problems with the dubbing twisting it that way. The most important thing is only twisting in one direction. 🤷🏽‍♂️
