I'm from Germany, so on the one hand it's a great thing that they finally won this contest after 28 years again! But on the other hand MILIM was definitely the BEST SONG of this competition!!!! I saw/heard it and it was the only (!) song that made me feel like WOOOOWW what an EMOTIONAL PERFORMANCE, what a FANTASTIC LIVE SINGER and what an AMAZING SONG!!! I voted for him but in Germany they often don't understand real quality, like the quality of this masterpiece!

Lol im from israel, I remember when he participated in some show in israel called "Kohav Nolad" which means a star borns, he was in the final but he won in the 2nd place.. the 1st place was suck, and we hear harel more than the 1st place. Harel you are just becoming better by the time, good job!

Personally, I'm happy to have discovered Harel Skaat thanks to this event and I'm sure I shall look deeper into his recordings. If this may offer any comfort - he's won all three Marcel Bezencon Awards at this year's Eurovision and these were awarded by composers, journalists and commentators respectively! Never before has any song been awarded all three prizes, so, as you see, the professionals have taste!
