There seem to be a lot of comments about all Tabla players not playing properly when accompanying Hariharan. Actually, I think Hariharan asks them to play play in a somewhat more expressive and playful manner than is usually the case in ghazal accompaniment. If you listen, to the album that Hariharan did with Zakir Hussain, Hazir, you realise what I think Hariharan asks from a Tabla player. Someone of the Sabir Khan's calibrate could play however is demanded of them..

No one like out of beat music ,but I think by mistake its happened, (Saam) is very important in any Ghazal.if you are showing different variations during playing tabla but didn't come correctly on (saam) then all variations is out of order.
