perhaps the message is very simple, but becoming a pure arhat such as Papaji is definitely not simple... god knows what merits it requires

The Message is great "Refuse the Minds Guidance". Enlightenment will never happen if one keeps running after it. Live a Good Cultured Life with Great values and compassion. Meditate and keep an eye on enlightenment and try to be as detached as possible to the results of your actions/life. Do you remember wanting to be Born as a Human Being. It just happened. So don't load yourself. If you are to be enlightened, you will be enlightened.

***** All the speakers talk very abstract as that is the very safe way. Let the people interpret what they want. But it never helps anyone. As they say There is no Free Lunch. Same way - There is no Free Enlightenment. I don't think very highly of so called Gurus as I cannot be sure they are really enlightened.

Papajis message is "Refuse the Minds Guidance". But these people keep coming to him with questions and expecting him to help their enlightenment/spirituality. Isnt that contradictory to the Message. Is that why Papaji keeps laughing at all the questions???????? It is actually very funny at times. The Kangaroo thing. His answers are all abstract. He cannot help as the only way is to go deep within yourself by yourself. No else can help in that endeavour.

***** That's very Abstract. If I slap you, Will I slap myself. No. Not in my present level of consciousness. Will you not get Offended by my slap???? Yes in your present level of consciousness.

***** You said For a Master there is no Difference between You and Me. Now you say Master is different from me. All your views are Abstract. There is nothing Concrete. People who really know don't talk Abstract.

yogiyogiinfy When you leave the mind out then there is no difference. The difference arises between egos.

Greg, Yogi's on it. Leave the linguo alone and recognise what he's saying. You can watch in this very video the attempt of Papaji's followers to connect with him as "their guru" and his refusal to fill such a role for them. He will not accept them to offset their truth. He will not let them make him into a bridge for them to cross. So he has to give them some words to make them go away, and he says some relatively nonsensical things in the process - but energetically, he's sewing seeds for the future throughout. He's looking out for the energetic welfare of some of these people who come to him, but that's nothing to do with spirituality - that's to do with other things, basic compassion and kindness. Spirituality is a solo exercise. There is no teacher who can help you beyond pointing the way. Every single one of us has to do this for him/herself. That's the case. Anybody who tells you otherwise is lying so that they can suck up your energy, to be frank - that's all the "guru" ever amounts to be, if he's anything more than a man (or woman, plant, shoebox or fridge) giving you directions. Edit: you have the vehicle, you have the keys, you get the map - you have to drive. God didn't have anyone do it for him - nor did Papaji or Ramana. Why should we? We all support each other on the way, of course - that's natural - but each of us has to do the work for him/herself. How could it be "self-realisation" any other way?

People get it then mind come back and want more. or some dont get it and mind want more. as mooji says "8 year in a cave with scorpion crawling on penis" for total enlightenment lol or ramana silent stare of death :D or life :D

It's a shame they didn't know about audio back in those days. The audio is so bad. Too much background fuzz makes hearing difficult.

Moesy Pittounikos even today, a good microphone costs 600 € or $ But the lesson might be to stay attentive and treat the fuzz as things that come and go.

Give the mustage man a sausage to eat. Tell him: We spoke a great deal, now it's the time to eat the sausage. He will eat the sausage and ask him if he needs a mustard or a mayonnaise? When he finished eating tell him to go home to his house and to take a cat nap on his sofa. Give him a name: Pepperoni Sausage. He will be either very angry or very happy. Ldave it raw.
