I don't have any knowledge of classical dance, except from the spectator point of view (which is where I guess most of the audience fall in). The 2006 performance feels like a baby doe dancing in its first spring, jumping in glee surrounded by blooming flowers, just befitting her name, Harinie. The latest performance from 2018 is the graceful, calm and elegant peacock spreading its feathers before the rains, it knows the joy that comes from dancing for itself, and for us. Good luck and may Lord Nataraja dance for us, his devotees, through your art, Harinie. My humble Namaskarams to the Guru for presenting this real pearl to the world.

15 years ago today, Harinie akka did her Arangetram. On that day also, she was dancing with perfection as always. 🤗 I am a big fan of Harinie akka. I never missed any of her videos.

What a superb transformation. Though she was 11 the perfection she had for everything including her abhinaya is just superb and outstanding. The time being performance she had this year was more than just speechless. You are my daughter's role model from when she was just 5 and she is is now 14.
