Today I am here with a simple and delicious recipe of HARISSA SAUCE/PASTE. Harissa is a North African Hot Sauce/condiment that is commonly found in Moroccan ,Tunisian ,Algerian cuisine.It is a hot sauce ,but you can adjust the heat level as per your preference.you can use this extremely versatile paste/sauce in many ways - as a dip ,Marinade , spread , salad dressing and many more .Harissa recipe vary widely but it is usually made with spices including corriander seeds ,caraway seeds ,cumin seeds ,carom seeds ,fennel seeds ,Garlic ,hot chillies and olive oil. Do try this fiery & garlicky Harissa .you can keep this sauce in sterilized Air tight jar for a long time in your fridge.
Ingredients :-
Dry Red Chillies- 100 gms
Fresh Red Chillies - 10-12
Garlic cloves - 50 gms
Lemon juice /vinegar - 1/2cup
Extra virgin olive oil - 1 cup
Corriander seeds - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 2 tbsp
Fennel seeds - 2 tbsp
Carom seeds - 1 tbsp
Caraway seeds - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1 tbsp or as per taste
