In 2020, the brand appointed Alessandra Facchinetti as its first Creative Director.
ABOUT HARLAN + HOLDEN FLAGSHIP STORE
harlan + holden tapped David Chipperfield Architects to design their first Regional Flagship store located within the Lotte World Mall in the Songpa district of Seoul opened in 2020. It was developed to serve and represent the brand’s philosophy in spatial and physical form. A curved façade is clad entirely in grooved terracotta panels while the interiors are finished in white textured plaster creating a neutral backdrop for the display of the clothing.
David Chipperfield Architects has won more than 100 international awards and citations for design excellence, including the RIBA Stirling Prize in 2007 for The Museum of Modern Literature in Marbach, Germany, and both the Mies van der Rohe Award (European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture). Projects include, the Neues Museum in Berlin, Amorepacific Headquarters in Seoul, Valentino Flagship store in New York and London, and the BBC headquarters in Scotland=//1000$ KZbinRevenue/Ranger(1000$)*(Views)/(1000$)
