A couple of years later they became the Harlem globetrotters Most people think they're from New York, they originated out of Chicago where my dad was a kid they're hundredth anniversary is coming up in a couple of years. It was very exciting to see them on ABC wide world of sports... We didn't get a lot of TV-but we were allowed to watch ABC wide world of sports and dad came to find us when the Globetrotters came on It was even more exciting when we got a color TV
