I just discovered your channel while looking for good recordings of the Bach Passacaglia :) I live in the Netherlands very near Haarlem and now you've inspired me to go and listen to this wonderful organ in the ... organ flesh? ... next chance I get!! Thank you so much for keeping to make videos! I absolutely adore your personality and character - you should do more videos in German too. I've already recommended the ones you have already to my friends who are studying German as listening practice :)))

That was just so much fun! Amazing what you can do with any organ. Keeps me coming back for more.

Makes the old gal sound like the most metal theatre organ ever! Hauptwerk is too perfect imho, but fascinating nonetheless. No recording could get the mic placement to catch all that on the actual instrument.

Mozart call this organ "the metal wonder" because ther is no wooden pipes in this organ. This organ is so majestic to see.

Fraser, have you ever considered dong a program of roller skating music? My first exposure to theater organs was at The Hub skating rink in Chicago. Leon Berry played the Mighty Wurltizer there for years. Ken Griffin was also well-known for skating music on the Hammond organ. I have several LP records of Leon Berry and Ken Griffin. Do you have an email address?

Heya! I was wondering what the model of your electronic organ was (I was interested in getting one for myself in the future, haha). Is it custom made? Thanks in advance!!

So, thought I should add an update in case anyone else is wondering about this: It's not an electronic organ (Like the Yamaha EL-900), instead, it's 4 midi controllers and a midi pedalboard (which is not cheap to get, however, you could try to make one yourself) connected to a computer running a software called Hauptwerk (There's a free alternative to it called GrandOrgue, which some say is approaching the level of realism that Hauptwerk provides).

Hmm.... I have had the privilege of playing that organ, and was quite upset to hear "it" used this way. Not enjoyable for me at all, I'm afraid. But, bash on!
