Had a terrific adventure up at Barnegat Light, N.J. on Long Beach Island yesterday trying to get a glimpse of the beautiful Harlequin Ducks that winter over up there. It took me almost 4 hours from Lincoln, De. and 168 miles but was certainly worth it. The only thing is the light was almost not at all so I had to keep the aperture almost wide open to try and get all I could. Unfortunately that limited the DOF only keeping what was in direct line with the focal point in focus so the surrounding ducks were most of the time not in focus. Oh well, you do what you can. On the video, it's not as sharp as I'd like since the Nikon D90 doesn't auto focus and I had quite a challenge trying to keep up with the ducks and the rolling sea;) Hope you enjoy, Ben Tebbens of Delaware.
