FYI If you would have kept the sealant on the, you would have a more uniform finish with the stain.

First of all, nice job on that build, what's the color you used on it and very nice demo and explanation on what you did too it. Enjoy and have fun with it.

Thanks! It was just an aqua blue stain from Lowe's with some clear coat over it. I did 2 really light coats with a rag to show the wood grain.
