Harley-B´s are the best money spent on a guitar. Well built and does the job well. I can´t complain. If the pickups or any of the parts don´t sound good to your ears, you can always install new brand-name pickups. BUT just think of the money you will be saving ! With the saved money, you can always spend it on a new Amp or some new effects pedals!

Frets are stainless also. I have the same guitar in bengal color. It is a great guitar, love to play it. It did need some additional set up and fret polishing but the neck and tuning is super stable and it sounds so good. I really like the weight of it, the way it feels and the body contours. I agree with Rich in thinking this is the best Harley Benton.

That one came out particularly nicely imo… good sympathetic wood vibration and one of the most excellent sustaining HBs I’ve heard.

Kudos for beginning the video with a superb demo, great licks and playing and not some boring talking. Straight to the point.

It’s almost upsetting how good these cheap imports are. In lieu of buying a Gibson or even an Epiphone DC Jr I decided to try to build one. But then a friend told me about these imports that were unbelievably cheap, but supposedly well made. So for the money I took a chance thinking it would be a project guitar and I could get a better P-90 etc… have some fun tweaking and it’ll still be way under the cost of a Gibson. Well, the guitar arrived and all it really needed was a set of strings and a setup. Crazy! It’s a perfect spare or even a gig worthy guitar for those gigs that might get rough. Nice demo and playing Rich, looks like a solid deal for a budget minded Tele guy! Keep the content coming!

I would say these are great for a gig, since they won't cost you much if they're destroyed or stolen. Also, people won't be as likely to steal an HB over a Gibson since the HB isn't worth stealing.

@@greevar I’ve played my share of gigs where I was worried about safeguarding my gear- losing or damaging a vintage guitar is most players worst nightmare. I’ve always played anything I owned, but these guitars give you the ability to leave the good stuff home and most people at these gigs are non the wiser and couldn’t care less. So why not play it safe when you could.

Very nice video. HB has interesting and good guitars in its portfolio, I bought 7 of them last year. They are mainly models developed in recent years, but also a few of their classic types. I am satisfied with them, unfortunately I am an older guy and a guitarist of questionable quality at home, they are fully sufficient for my needs. I was also lucky to get good pieces without the need for difficult adjustments. They have their own stand for 7 guitars in my mini home studio. This guitar looks very good including the sound. Prices are very reasonable. Thank you for the video and greetings. Pavel CZ..👍👍👍

I have the hardtail version. Have a love-hate relationship with the pickups, ultimately will be replaced. My truss rod adjustment does not really work, but the neck is straight, so no worries. Neck could be thinner but it's absolutely playable.

If it had an $800+ price tag it would still be reasonable!

After seeing Gibson's new $10K another endless Kirk Hammett signature, this guitar may be the best guitar :D.

Love hearing they have a chunky neck! Interesting how they have "the PRS lower bout scoop" feature. Perhaps more guitars will sport that style now. ..."Must have better pickups" there are several factors why a guitar can sound good/bad: pickup height/tip/poles setup, pots and caps (and their actual measured values, max vs min matter), and pickups themselves. Many of the import pickups measure the same as hand scatter-wound boutique pickups, likely because capital equipment is more expensive than labor just like Leo Fender did it in the fifties, but players miss out on it because of branding and "price must mean quality, right?"... I'd rotate the bridge pickup, raise the screw poles, wire a 4-way switch to the bridge pickup separating the bobbins and remove the neck pickup. I have a Tele just like that and it's a great and fun player. Parallel gives Strat Quack, Single bridge side gives Tele Twang, Single neck side gives Strat middle/neck (with tone knob adjust), and series gives Les Paul Junior. All the famous tones anyone might need.

Good call. I did the same (kinda) when I decided to install a pair of Iron Gear Tesla Sharks - I didn't know it was Alnico 2, but I have since come to realise that Alnico 2 is my main preference.

I wish they'd make a hard tail version

I thought they did. The original lefty (a few years ago) was a hard tail.
