Harley Benton - JA-60CC

If you’re into indie and alternative, rock and roll or surf, or simply looking for something special, you’ll love the JA-60. With its two single coil Roswell Alnico-5 P90 pickups, this guitar from our Vintage series has a warm sound with that typical ‘crunch’. In short: This guitar has all the ingredients you need to make some serious noise! To keep your axe in tune, we’ve fitted this model with Kluson-style tuners and a hardtail Tune-O-Matic-style bridge. The Vintage look is simply stunning, with an Inca Silver finish and a fretboard with block inlays. A modern interpretation of a legend.

@@tez1651 Yes i have them all, 3 of them are Basses Would take to much space to list them all Got 2 458´s 1 franfret 1 regular, 1 457 7 string, 1 456 floyd rose,..2 doublecut(SG style) 2 SC 400 (LP style) 2 Telestyle 1TE-30 1 Kit,..All the Extreme series Beast ,Warlock, Mockingbird, V randyroads (Style) 1 Warlock bass Style,..2 R-446 green and bloodred met,..2 JA-60 ´s ...1 Expolorer style, 1 Bigtone, 1 Vintage 62 OW ,..is hard to pick one favourite But the Tely´s, defenetly the JA-60´s the R-446´s and WL Style are some i really like, i really are hooked on Harley Benton,..i also like Lasse,..and the crew and staff of Harley Benton and Thomann,..not all guitars are listed here Love cheers to ya´ Tez 🧡🎸

Wife got me the Inca Silver for my birthday. Blown away by the quality of this instrument. Minor adjustment to bridge (lowered strings) preference. Plays as well as my SE custom 24 PRS. Frets were polished. Kemper responds well to pick-ups mid focused. Thanks HB, job well done! You have earned our business...

Ok, I like it BUT it NEEDS a tremolo. But it doesn’t need Jazzmaster tremolo. I think they work great, much better than a Strat, but they are a big, somewhat expensive system. I think the obvious first mod any buyer should make is either a Bigsby, which looks and should cool, but is a little pricey and permanent OR go with the Xtrem from GuitarFetish. Easy to install, not permanent, no alterations to the guitar and inexpensive, about $55 (American). If anyone out there gets this guitar and adds a trem I would LOVE to see and hear it. Surf’s up, dude!

Seriously considering getting myself one of these as the Holidays roll around. Even if I swapped the pickups, if would be less money than the Classic Vibe Squier, which is probably the closest guitar to compare it to. Love the carmelized neck on this one, and even though I love the vibrato bar on a Jazzmaster, it's hard to not trust a fixed bridge more.

It can easily be modded with a Duesenberg Les ii trem. It doesn't take any drilling, just switching it out and using the right screws which is included 🙂

@@HarleyBentonOfficial This is the minimum you can do on a great guitar. Good guitars deserve the best ;) I love my HB Strat and Tele. The JA-60 is the next on my list. I own now 9 HB guitars and Bluegrass Instrument (3TE, 2ST, 1 Big Tone. 1 N150CE, 1 Banjo and 1 mandoline) HB Best deal for the money. Yes, i'm a HB addict ;) But don't tell my wife :D

The JA 60 are no Jazzmasters in many ways. Smaller body, no trem and the pickups are only jazzmaster style. But for what it is, it's okay.

Incredible that many times I see a Review of a guitar always with Overdrive or Distortion etc, and hardly a clean sound with just a Reverber and some Jazz or R&B or Funk chords It is simply unbearable to hear, and that all the people who make the review, have this premise that not all of their subscribers on the Thomman channel and customer have the same preference for this or that style of music, And it doesn't matter how old you are, ME At 17 I already liked the Blues for many years and at 18 I was already going to Montreux for the great Jazz Festival, Anyway I regret that Thomman does not have the sensitivity to make a demonstration that only favors lovers of this style of music, with all the purchases that I made in this company, I see this Modus operandi, which until today has not changed.
