Harley Benton - MV-4MSB - Short Scale

It may look smaller than its siblings, but the MV-4MSB is no toy. This short-scale (30-inch) bass isn’t just for smaller hands. The reduced scale-length lends itself to a distinct, warmer tone than its larger siblings, as well as portability and ease of playability. Finished here in a classic Black, the alder body is paired to a bolt-on caramelised Canadian maple neck with a laurel fretboard. The pearloid dot inlays and matching headstock add to its aesthetic. Its AJB-B alnico 5 single coil at the bridge and an APB alnico 5 single coil at the neck, along with the volume and tone controls, offer a wide variety of tones, from slow jazz to hard rock. Brass saddles ensure stable tuning and sustain, while the die-cast tuners maintain the instrument’s reliability. Whether recording in the studio, performing on stage, or enjoying some personal practice time, the MV-4MSB is an excellent choice.

I'm really glad these have been fixed switching wise, but are there any plans to release one with the smaller M pickup? I just love the look of them and there's no real affordable options for a Mustang style bass, the Classic Vibes are a bit lacking in low end. A shortscale MM style bass would also be amazing. These are awesome though either way.

If I'm reading this right, you're releasing a new e-bass that won't be available in the right-handed version for another 19-24 weeks. If it was the 1st of April, I would think it was an April Fool's joke. Maybe you should have waited until you had enough production to meet a certain demand, especially after neglecting the bass community for so long.

I have the green one and my fretboard was nice and dark and after an oil treatment it looks almost like ebony.

I have one and I think this movie doesn't do it justice, it's really a great sounding and playing bass without issues, my luthier did the initial setup after I got it (it was allready great but I let him check all my instruments) and he hardly had to adjust anything, only lowered the J pickup a little because it's really strong, so it's more in balance now, he also found no ussues at all, nice tight neck pocket, no fret issues, just a great bass and not only for the prize, it gives the Mexican made Fender Mustangs a real run for their money.

No it’s a bass with a 30 inch scale which translates into less tension and less effort on the hands when playing.
